GLOBE recently caught up with The Print Co who is one of our small business members. We consistently love hearing about our members and the small businesses that support us.
The Print Co is an online print company based in Prahran Melbourne. We chatted with the Director Adam to find out more about his business and his success.
Tell us about your business. What makes you unique? What do you do?
The Print Co is an online print company. What makes us different is the ability to get an instant price online and order instantly too. We offer fast, good quality printing and great service.
How long have you been in small business? How did you get started?
This December will mark our 2nd birthday in business. I have worked in the printing industry for 16 years and thought there had to be a better way for clients to obtain a price and order in a few simple and easy steps online, while still receiving great printing and service.
Do you have any tips for others thinking of setting up their own small business?
Do your research, find a gap/something that’s missing in the market. Do your homework, speak to other small business owners and surround yourself with good people (accountant, brand designer, SEO/SEM marketing, web developers, support etc). Cash and your cash flow is key, make sure you have enough to sustain you through the early hard times.
Why are you a member of GLOBE?
I joined Globe for a few reasons. Me and my partner had recently moved to Melbourne and we both were looking at starting our own businesses, so we wanted to meet other LGBTI people in Melbourne as well as networking and being part of the community.
