Adrian is a seasoned Melbourne-based marketing and copywriting professional, with a flair for driving business growth through intelligent words and strategies. She started her marketing career 20 years ago in the fast-paced retail sector: coordinating apparel campaigns for David Jones and helping to relaunch Westfield Doncaster’s premium shopping centre in 2008.
She then moved into the wild world of corporate events, spending much of her career growing exhibition and conference brands, with a focus on the foodservice and food manufacturing industries. Most recently, Adrian headed up the marketing & communications team for a boutique intellectual property firm.
Adrian saw a need for a marketing and copywriting consultancy in Melbourne that appreciates the fact small business owners are time-poor, resource-thin and need a specialist to help market their businesses.
She founded Nomia Marketing to help businesses make rapid but strategic changes that foster sustainable growth.

The Equality Network works with organisations long-term, to help build their LGBTIQ+ inclusion. We take it as slowly as the organisation wants, to ensure that our partnership with them is solid and that any improvements to their inclusion score are enduring. We work on a 'no shame, no blame, no guilt' basis. One part of our inclusion building is focused on LGBTIQ+ inclusion training, customised to the organisation. Bronte Price (he, him), the Founder of The Equality Network, is a qualified trainer and knows how to put together courses that are stimulating, relevant and engaging. Much of the content is based on his lived experience as a cis straight man and as a cis gayt man. This training is offered (1) face-to-face or (2) via Zoom sessions or (3) online, with support sessions via Zoom.
But inclusion building involves far more than training. We begin by benchmarking where the organisation is, in terms of LGBTIQ+ inclusion, and then co-design a series of projects specifically designed to raise the level of LGBTIQ+ inclusivity right across the organisation. We set up a rolling action plan that contains projects that we commit to undertaking, and regularly measure and report on progress towards greater inclusion. Hence, the action plan gets updated often, to help keep efforts focused and accountable.
