To recognise the work of a Victorian LGBTIQA+ individual who has shown outstanding commitment through volunteer work in our communities.

Awarded to businesses that champion equity for LGBTIQA+ people in the workplace.

Awarded to an LGBTIQA+ owned small business operating in Victoria (with under 100 employees) for outstanding achievement in business.

This category is open to any organisations or individuals who run health and wellbeing initiatives/programs to improve the health of LGBTIQA+ communities.

Awarded to individuals who do not identify as LGBTIQA+, but have made an outstanding contribution to support and celebrate LGBTIQA+ communities.

Awarded to an organisation, including corporates, community and social groups who run initiatives/programs to reduce social isolation and build connections within LGBTIQA+ communities.

Awarded to an organisation who run advocacy and/or social change campaigns to shift attitudes, beliefs and behaviours; through systems, processes and programs that benefits LGBTIQA+ communities.

Awarded to a Victorian LGBTIQA+ individual or organisation who celebrate LGBTIQA+ communities through their artistic pursuits.

Awarded to individuals or organisations who have delivered an exceptional piece of reporting, podcasts or other media that either celebrates LGBTIQA+ communities, or sheds light on current LGBTIQA+ issues.

Awarded to an LGBTIQA+ individual who has led the way in driving inclusion, building capacity and connection between LGBTIQA+ and broader communities.

Awarded to LGBTIQA+ individuals or organisations who have excelled in their sporting pursuits both in and beyond the sporting arena, and/or who have driven LGBTIQA+ inclusion in sport and physical activity.

This nomination is for work, volunteering, an activity, or a project that's primarily based in Victoria.

The nominee must not be actively campaigning for or currently holding a public office, nor be someone appointed to public office.

The nominee has resided in Victoria for two or more years

2023 Victorian Pride Awards finalists

Congratulations to this year’s finalists and sincere thanks to everyone who submitted a nomination for the 2023 Victorian Pride Awards. We received so many incredible submissions this year, which no doubt made the task of our Awards Judges even tougher! Being selected as a Finalist this year is a significant achievement – well done!

The winners will be announced at a fabulous awards ceremony and gala celebration event, to be held at the Melbourne Town Hall on Friday 15 March 2024. See you there!
